When I was recently in Europe (Paris, Spain Italy), I was astonished about they are living simply and economically. In Japan, they have details separate recyclable from non-recyclable trash but I feel extravagant wrapping such as boutique. Japan doesn't have paper towel at public restroom for saving resources. Europe as well but, most restroom is lights out when I get in restroom because saving energy. They have system for automatically lights on/off! It was really amazing to me because we don't have that system in Japan.
I used to care and think about how to live more economically specially when I was living in San Francisco. For example, I always bring "Eco bag" to the Grocery shopping because they can't use anymore plastic bags at any shop in SF. But now, sometime I don't care because Chicago still can use and gave me a plastic bags. After my Europe trip, I suddenly realized that this is not right! I'll try live economically as much as possible.
